The studio can also provide free-lancers for various departments (often forming up to 80% of the production team) at rates which can be competitive with foreign crew rates. These experienced professionals can support various administrative, technical and design departments which include location and local production managers, unit managers, set designers, production coordinators, SFX assistants, secretaries, production assistants, electricians, clapper loader, props assistants, seamstresses, make-up artists and assistants, hairdressers and wardrobe mistresses. Although some key personnel are not available in Malta, we can recommend various foreign professionals who have worked extensively at MFS.
